Louise Boxill ARNP, CNM, ND



Dr. Louise Boxill is a master’s prepared, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, and Naturopathic Physician. She brings a unique set of skills with her expert lens on women’s health. By encompassing her background in integrative functional medicine, medical acupuncture, Ayurveda, and nutrition she is able to get to the root cause, promote disease prevention and assist in optimizing and restoring your health and well being. Born in Barbados, Louise received her Summa Cum Laude degree from Cornell University, Ithaca NY and made her way out to Washington for a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University. She went on to Seattle University College of Nursing for an Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion – Masters of Science in Nursing and Certified Nurse Midwifery specialty and continued to Helms Medical Institute of Berkeley California to learn medical acupuncture.
Dr. Lou chose to pursue her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters of Science and Nurse Midwifery because of her desire to serve, listen, teach, and coach women and families to reach their highest health goals and obtain the appropriate tools to make empowered/informed choices for their health and future well-being of their families and communities. She integrates a full scope of treatment modalities in her work to craft individualized care plans that emphasize natural healing as a foundation, yet integrates medical treatments as appropriate and respectful of patient informed choice.
